Randy has been an award ­winning advocate for talent in film and television in Western Canada and in Hollywood. Successes in other fields of his life have allowed him to focus on the weaving together of his company based in Kelowna, BC – and Phoenix, AZ, to take a leadership role in actively creating and developing significant film and television projects under one roof ­ RANDY LENNON MEDIA Inc. (“RLMI”).

Randy Lennon, CEO, has 41 years of experience as an entrepreneur who has founded and built successful enterprises in the fields of newspaper publishing, television and radio, recording artist management, retail, advertising, marketing, and the internet. He has also worked in regional television and as a national radio talk show host, starred in a situation comedy pilot, and worked as a special advisor to the leader of a major national political party in Ottawa.

Randy’s recording artists have won US Gold and Platinum Albums as well as the Juno Award in Canada. In the field of media, Mr. Lennon founded the Spruce Grove Examiner at age 19, building the company to a chain of four weekly newspapers serving the Edmonton market. As Chairman of the Privatization Committee of the board of directors of Access Television Network, he oversaw the first successful privatization of a public television broadcaster in North America.

One of his most innovative achievements in the area was the development of “The Biz Brainstorm” workshop and radio show series that garnered back­ to ­back nominations for the prestigious Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award.

In addition to serving as CEO for Candor Business Consulting, Mr. Lennon was co­founder and managing director with western Canada based Meridian International Merchant Capital, providing capital and corporate finance advisory services to companies operating internationally. Among more than 50 successful transactions in a wide range of industries, Meridian provided M&A and finance services in the media and entertainment space. Successful transactions included television and film financing, professional sports transactions highlighted in 2013 when Meridian arranged the financing that facilitated the purchase of the Phoenix Coyotes (now Arizona Coyotes) NHL hockey team by a group of primarily Alberta investors.

He is also the Founder and former President of VA Angels Kelowna and VA Angels Phoenix, one of North America’s most active Angel Investor Networks (also in Calgary, Edmonton, Winnipeg, Prince George, and Medicine Hat). VA Angels brings together accredited investors with early stage companies to grow through investment capital, guidance, and mentorship.

VA Angels recently celebrated its 120th investee company and over its 13 years members invested over $52 million.

Specifically related to the film, television, and entertainment industry, Randy founded and built 3 successful companies in the 80’s and 90’s: Fully integrated television production company based in Edmonton. Produced over 100 television commercials, award winning music videos, and television programs “Edmonton Alive”, “Midnight with Randy Lennon”, “The Jerry Lewis Telethon” (western Canadian live inserts), as well as a sitcom pilot aimed at the US market starring Fred Willard called “The Chat Channel” which aired on the local CTV affiliate in 1990.

Television production and New Media company based in Edmonton and Vancouver. Developed Dave Chalk’s Computer Show (syndicated in Canada and USA), EVTV, MainFrame and a number of other educational programs that aired on Access Television. Featured on CTV News for executing the first ever Internet Television broadcast in Canada in 1997 and on the front page of the Globe and Mail for an innovative national video distribution campaign strategy Music business recording artist management based in Los Angeles.

Represented 14 artists/bands primarily Canadian. Platinum and Gold US albums and one Juno Award (1987 Tim Feehan) and one Juno nominee (1992 Kerri Anderson).

Brad Trumble


Brad is a Certified Management Accountant with a deep history in broadcast media, having led the introduction of several new national products distributed by cable and satellite, including the roll­out of Canada’'s first professionally produced music subscription service. He was instrumental in setting music copyright rates for subscription and internet radio play when he represented the industry at hearings in 2003. With community access, he developed the early entrant to magazine style reporting changing the face of community broadcasting.


Wayne Tinker

Wayne completed a Bachelor of Commerce in 1980 and a Bachelor of Laws in 1984, while working in the financial industry with a firm of tax and estate planning experts.Wayne was admitted to the Law Society of Alberta in 1985, and practiced law in Calgary, Alberta from 1985 to 1999, specializing in corporate/commercial, public and private financings and mergers and acquisitions, for natural resources issuers and companies exploiting intellectual properties (patents, copyrights and industrialdesigns).

Wayne has completed the Canadian Securities Course and the Exempt Market Proficiency Exam. Wayne was subsequently retained by OFSE (Institute for FinancialSector Education) to teach the EMP courses in Western Canada.

Julie is an accomplished entrepreneur, financier and financial consultant, and investor who brings the experience of going from wealth, to boat person refugee, to single Mom to respected international business woman. An inspiring speaker and motivator, Julie earned her MBA and various financial designations in her role as CEO of Trident Global Investment Corporation based in Vancouver, BC

Mother of four adult children, Julie brings a culture of hard work, excellence, and giving back to her role in overseeing investor relations and finance.
